i’m watching a japanese drama – Zettai Kareshi / Absolute Boyfriend. (Fuji TV, 2008)
a programmer Namikiri-san, finally creates a robot catered to women: a perfect boyfriend dedicated to love. which can be customised to be the perfect boyfriend.
his first prototype is out and he names it “01″.
as that, he looks for a female to test the product before officially launching ‘the perfect boyfriend’.
Riiko-chan meets the programmer by chance at a bar and she’s conned by the comical & witty Namikiri-san into a trial usage period of 5days. but after 5 days, the programmer doesn’t want her to return him so he could continue monitoring the “01″ prototype more. with that, she’s unwittingly conned into purchasing ‘ideal boyfriend’ for 100 million yen by a cheerful Namikiri-san.
Riiko is annoyed but well, she treats him as any of her kitchen appliances, hesitant to feel emotions towards the robot. she names “01″ as Tenjo Knight and he does the house chores, takes care of Riiko; even prepares ‘love breakfasts’. Even though he’s rather annoying, she slowly finds herself being moved by his pure intentions to make her feel loved; such as working overtime on his own will to earn money when she needed money –which, was sadly to return ‘knight’ to the programmer. (tatic used by programmer to make her keep knight, refund means money)
Meanwhile, the programmer Namikiri found Knight’s system generating its own mind and feeling, slowly rejecting statistics to be analyzed. with all that unexpected twist, what happens next?
i’m currently watching episode 6 and its pretty funny and fun to watch.
Also, Hayami Mokomichi is such a hottie.
he reminds me of Takashi Kashiwabara/柏原崇Bo Yuan Chong whom was popular back then and he used to date Kanno Miho whom i also like, from Iguana no Musume, a tv drama about a very fat girl whom wanted to be pretty and miho acted as the cunning split personality bestfriend whom was beautiful but doesn’t believe in love.
